SmartRight was first designed by Thomson, with the help of world-class technology partners wishing to jointly develop and promote this digital copy protection system. It is today supported by key actors in the consumer electronics, conditional access, integrated circuits and smart cards industries. Besides, continuous discussions with the content industry ensure that content owners, content providers and content distributors’ requirements are taken into account in the design and development of the SmartRight solution.
